A very musical start to 2023

The turning of the year is often a time to reflect. Robert Treviño spent an extremely busy and fruitful 2022, that included many concerts with his musical 'families' of the Basque National Orchestra and Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai, debuts with the La Scala Philharmonic, Teatro La Fenice, Gürzenich-Orchester Köln, Osaka Philharmonic, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Utah Symphony, Interlochen Center for the Arts and Duisburger Philharmoniker - and joyful reunions with the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, SWR Symphony Orchestra, MDR Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, Vienna Tonkünstler Orchestra, Malmö Symfony Orchestra and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, as well as two new recordings for Ondine and collaborations with treasured soloists (among them Pinchas Zukerman, Renaud Capucon, Simone Lamsma and many others).

And 2023 has begun in similar vein; the first months of the year includes debuts with the Basel Symphony Orchestra, Bern Symphony Orchestra and Strasbourg Philharmonic, and much-anticipated returns to La Scala, La Fenice, Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse, Leipzig, Malmö, the Puccini Festival at Torre del Lago, the Milan Symphony Orchestra, and of course to the Basque National Orchestra - including a tour to Poland - and to the Rai. May everyone's 2023 be filled with music!
